Good evening to you all, I hope this finds you well. Last Friday was Janes birthday and as a surprise I took her to Pisa for the weekend. We got there about 7pm on the Friday night and headed straight out to the tower (and yes she did do the push the tower picture). It is situated in a fairly small area which includes a cathedral and mausoleum very close by. From my days on cruise ships I have always loved Italy and the architecture of some of the buildings. It always amazes me the detail that goes into them. On Saturday we jumped on the train and headed 30 minutes north to the walled city of Lucca, followed by a day in Florence on the Sunday. Needless to say we ate far too much pasta and drank far too much wine, but when the food and wine is that good, we didn't really care!
Wednesday evening sees the final session of the after work club, but with the current forecast prediction, unfortunately I am not too hopeful that it will go ahead. I have dates already planned for the next set of sessions and they will start on Wednesday 8th June, please have a look at the attached picture for all the dates.
