Friday 19th June sees the annual Hornsea Pro Am and I have been asked to play in it. With this in mind I have realised I need to do some serious practice and please do not be surprised to see me on the range over the next two weeks. Fingers crossed that I can get some sort of form together for what should be a great day. If anyone wants to put a team in then please contact Hornsea on 01964 532020 and we can get you a time and Professional if you need one.
1. Aim right
2. Grip down the club
3. Take an extra club
It was great to see Alex Noren return to winning ways on the European tour this week. Noren has been on the tour for a long time and is considered to be one of the best ball strikers on tour but, because of injury over the last couple of years, he has struggled to make an impact. Hopefully for Noren this will be the start of something good. In the USPGA competition Justin Rose narrowly lost out in a playoff to make it a clean sweep for Swedish players this weekend after losing to David Lingmerth. Rose had put himself in contention, but couldn't quite get the job finished. Hopefully this will give him a bit of confidence with the US Open in 2 weeks time.
