With the poor weather in mind I am very hopeful of organising a golf holiday to Portugal this year. I am in close contact with Algarve Sports who specialise in organising trips to Portugal. I am sure that you have enjoyed playing golf with the sun on your back during the summer and I feel this is an excellent chance for that to continue. We plan to head out on Wednesday 11th November to the 5-star Amedoeira Golf Resort in southern Portugal for 7 nights in a luxury apartment or villa.
Once there you will have the option to play 7 rounds of golf at 4 different courses, two of these at the fantastic Vilamoura complex, unlimited range balls and free buggies at the courses at Amendoeira. There is a cracking par 3 course, which I think it would be rude not have small competition round it! The resort has various other sports facilities such as a gym, tennis courts and a 5-a-side court.... if that's your thing!
I have got a couple of prices depending on occupancy of the apartments and if you are a snorer or sleep walker you can have a room just to yourself!
5 people sharing a two bedroom (twin beds) apartment with a mezzanine floor - £475pp
3 people sharing a two bedroom apartment with a mezzanine floor - £580pp
3 people sharing a villa with double beds and private pool - £775pp
The prices do not include flights which, at the moment, are about £100. Transfers to the resort are also not included, but will be approximately £15pp.

The kids have now gone back to school which means that I am now available for lessons on Friday afternoons, but be quick to book in as my diary is pretty full for the next couple of weeks. We are still going strong with our Junior sessions on a Saturday morning with 15-20 regularly attending. They are proving that popular that I have had to draft in the Junior Academy members at Hornsea to help out. I have found this is a great way for them to develop not only their golfing skills, but their interpersonal skills too. I have them doing the warm up (public speaking) and leading the game at the end of the session (organisational). I also feel that for the younger ones in the group it gives them chance to get to know some of the older ones, which makes the transition to a full junior member that much easier. I am sure you already know, but the Junior sessions are every Saturday morning at 10am and last for 90 mins. At £2.50 this represents fantastic value for money for such a great experience.
